Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, processing purchases, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and other related documents
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues
  • Collaborate with suppliers to obtain price quotations and resolve delivery problems
  • Conduct quality control checks on received goods
  • Compile and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain purchasing files, reports, and records
  • Set up and maintain inventory control systems, including computerized and manual systems
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in inventory control or a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory control software
