Job Summary

Thunder Trans is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely: Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, including checking tires, brakes, and fluids.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured and protected during transit.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with dispatch and other drivers to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that may arise.
  • Hours of Service: Accurately record hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to meet regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Work Environment

As a Long Haul Truck Driver with Thunder Trans, you will be working on the road, traveling across the country to deliver goods to our customers. This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work independently for extended periods.
