Viana Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for planning, setting up, and administering accounting systems, supervising staff, training staff, and ensuring accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures, and internal control.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems
- Supervise staff and train them to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties
- Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures, and internal control
- Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies
- Prepare reports and audit findings
- Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures
- Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
- Analyze financial documents and reports
- Examine accounting records and provide financial, business, and tax advice
- Fast-paced environment
- Work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to handle a large workload
- Accurate and reliable
- Client-focused and efficient in interpersonal skills
- Initiative and judgement
- Organized and efficient
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting
- Permanent position with 40 hours per week
