Our operations include a cutting and polishing facility in Perth, an office in Calgary, and a diamond sales office in Antwerp.

Position Overview

The Senior Mining Engineer will report directly to the Head of Mine Planning and Capital Projects, playing a pivotal role in the formulation of Preliminary Feasibility Studies (PFS) for our underground mining operations. The successful candidate will also support the development of long-term mine plans, including five-year and one-year strategies for our underground projects.

This role is part of the Mine Planning Team, operating on a Monday to Friday schedule from the Calgary Corporate Office, with occasional site visits required. The Senior Mining Engineer will serve as the primary liaison for PFS development within the company's underground operations.

  • Designing optimized underground mine layouts, including essential infrastructure;
  • Providing ventilation engineering support through simulations and network designs;
  • Conducting field assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards;

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
  • Leadership and organizational capabilities;
  • Knowledge of mining safety protocols;
  • Effective time management and decision-making skills;
