Senior Process Safety Specialist

The Chemical Engineer is seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Safety Engineer to join our team in Calgary, AB or Edmonton, AB.
About the Role:We are looking for a seasoned professional with expertise in process safety to expand our capabilities in the Oil & Gas Canada business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects across various areas, including oil and gas (upstream, midstream, downstream), energy transition, and other related fields.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement process safety strategies to ensure the safe operation of facilities and equipment.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to minimize hazards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address process safety concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive experience in process safety engineering.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
