About the Role
Reporting Structure
The Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Maintenance (AME - M) will report directly to the Director of Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
- Report unserviceable maintenance equipment to the assigned Crew Chief.
- Conduct inspections on aircraft in accordance with applicable airworthiness standards.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of all reportable service difficulties and maintenance irregularities to Quality Assurance and SMS.
- Participate in training courses as directed by management.
- Verify that all deferred defects are managed according to established procedures.
- Research and order materials necessary for defect recertifications.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the maintenance crew.
- Communicate task completion to facilitate workflow for subsequent trades.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems to identify and rectify failures according to specifications and established procedures.
- Maintain and repair airframe, engine, and propeller systems.
- Document routine and heavy maintenance activities.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
- Promote the company's values, vision, and mission.
- Certify aircraft for return to service.
Qualifications
- Transport Canada Certified AME - M License is required.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Integrity, ingenuity, and assertiveness in task performance.
- Proficient troubleshooting skills with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Willingness to work towards obtaining an ACA.
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Dash-8 and CRJ aircraft is considered an asset.
