Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team at Ignite Construction. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a crucial role in assisting skilled tradespersons and contributing to the successful completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from work sites.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under the guidance of experienced tradespersons.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and operate various vehicles and equipment as required.
  • Assist skilled tradespersons with routine maintenance and repair of equipment, and help equipment operators secure attachments to equipment or trucks.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, ensuring efficient logistics and timely project completion.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Will train on the job, with a focus on developing skills and knowledge in construction labouring.
  • Dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and working outdoors.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and a quick learning ability.
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer with Ignite Construction, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with experienced tradespersons and contributing to the success of our construction projects. We offer a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week, and a competitive compensation package.
