Job Title: Senior System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to lead our infrastructure team and ensure the optimal performance and continuous availability of our hosting systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of system administrators to ensure the smooth operation of our infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and resolve performance issues, including load speed, database, and email.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including web response times, backup durations, and system loads.
  • Escalate complex issues and coordinate responses with the DevOps team.
  • Identify and resolve security incidents, including abuse, blacklisting, malware, and phishing.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator with an infrastructure service provider.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with system performance tuning and optimization, especially in high-traffic environments.
  • A seasoned leader, capable of managing and mentoring a team of system administrators.
  • Experience with cPanel/WHM control panel and Bash or similar command-line scripting languages.
  • Good communicator in English; capable of clearly communicating complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Excellent understanding of email protocols and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience managing and optimizing database systems and web concepts.
  • Working knowledge of common website scripting languages and Windows Server management experience.
