About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Attendant to join our team at Skyservice. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform snow removal and groundskeeping duties, including the safe operation of equipment such as shovels, sweepers, tractors, and skid loaders.
  • Conduct daily janitorial services and duties, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Assist with the issuance, return, and maintenance of security key cards.
  • Perform routine building maintenance, property inspections, repairs, and services.
  • Participate in scheduling and coordination of annual facility inspections.
  • Support the team in safety and security audit processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of employment experience.
  • Valid G driver's license.
  • Pass a Police Background Check to secure an Airport Restricted Area Identification Card.
  • Light and medium equipment operator experience.
  • Heavy Equipment Operating Experience/Training preferred.
  • Intermediate understanding of electrical, plumbing, tiling, HVAC systems preferred.
  • Experience with a variety of hand tools and electric tools is an asset.
  • Capable of lifting 50lbs or more.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work varying hours, days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Willing/able to be on call 24/7 April to October.
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently with a customer service mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to organize time efficiently and tasks effectively.
  • Required and able to work in all types of extreme weather conditions.
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
  • Technical College/Post-secondary education is an asset.
