About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate at Wallys Mini Mart. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Process Sales Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payments, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock and Maintain Store: Restock shelves, clean the counter area, and maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.
  • Participate in Promotions: Participate in promotional activities, suggest products, and provide excellent customer service to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work under pressure, lift up to 25 pounds, and stand for long periods.
