Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction to clinical staff, ensuring the delivery of patient-centered care that meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that promote excellence in patient care and improve health outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and services, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage and oversee the allocation of resources, including staff, budget, and equipment, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to promote collaboration and improve patient care.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant.
- Advanced preparation in the designated clinical specialty area(s), three years' recent related experience in a management/leadership position, and four years' recent clinical experience in designated clinical specialty area(s); or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Valid BC Driver's License.
- Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Experience in a leadership or management role in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations.
