Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Coordinator to join our Oncology Unit team. As a Clinical Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the unit, ensuring smooth patient flow, and providing administrative support to the clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient appointments, tests, and services, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of care.
  • Manage patient records, including updating and maintaining accurate and complete information.
  • Provide administrative support to the clinical team, including preparing documents, communicating with patients and families, and responding to inquiries.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.

Requirements

  • Completion of Grade 12.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Graduation from a recognized Nursing Unit Clerk Program.
  • One year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
