Business Architecture Analyst

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for business architecture? Do you have experience in analyzing complex business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement?

We're looking for a Business Architecture Analyst to join our team at Scotiabank. As a Business Architecture Analyst, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining business architecture models, analyzing business processes, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain business architecture models, including business capability maturity models and strategic roadmaps
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Coordinate meetings with stakeholders and document meeting minutes
  • Facilitate sessions with stakeholders for business process documentation and assessment clarification
  • Build knowledge of business processes, business capabilities, and systems across GRM domains
  • Identify opportunities for rationalization, transformation, and simplification
  • Analyze industry and market trends to identify improvement opportunities
  • Store all artifacts in a central business architecture repository
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field
  • Experience in business architecture or GRM is an asset
  • Business Architecture Certification is an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
