Are you a strategic thinker adept at navigating uncertainty and executing with a high level of ambiguity?

In this role, you will:

  • Update and maintain business architecture assessment templates with accurate and complete input.
  • Analyze to identify impacts and insights to support business architecture assessments.
  • Develop and refine business architecture models, such as business capability maturity models and strategic roadmaps, following enterprise and industry standards.
  • Coordinate meetings across groups, document and recap meeting minutes, and manage action items.
  • Facilitate sessions with stakeholders for business process documentation and assessment clarification.
  • Build knowledge of business processes, business capabilities, and systems across GRM domains.
  • Identify opportunities for rationalization, transformation & simplification.
  • Analyze industry & market trends to find improvement opportunities.
  • Store all artifacts in a central business architecture repository.
  • Understand the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

We're looking for a proactive and organized individual who can efficiently manage multiple tasks and deadlines, skilled in relationship management, quickly gaining stakeholders' trust, and an effective influencer, adept at reconciling diverse viewpoints.

As a adaptable learner with a strong grasp of business and technology, you should be open to new challenges and have a clear communicator, proficient in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) and presenting ideas.

Experience in modeling, capable of conceptualizing and visualizing high-level frameworks, and 3+ years Analyst experience, preferably experience in Business Architecture or GRM, are also required.

Business Architecture Certification is an asset.
