About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Software Engineer to join our team at Capital One Canada. As a key member of our Software Studio, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing innovative cloud-based solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of cloud-based applications and services using Java and other object-oriented programming languages
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant systems
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate associates
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
Requirements
  • At least 8 years of hands-on development experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud products, such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud
  • Strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
