TalentWorld is seeking a Senior Cloud Software Engineer for one of our esteemed clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development and Maintenance: Design, update, and support software applications.
  • Identify and rectify deficiencies in current systems; suggest and implement improvements and fixes.
  • Formulate and execute strategies to address system challenges and enhancements.
  • Analyze systems, devise solutions, and implement modifications based on organizational needs.
  • Conduct testing, deploy solutions, and provide continuous operational support.
  • Maintain and refresh design models, documentation, and specifications.
  • Provide technical assistance and resolve issues for business users.
  • Research and develop strategies for migrating applications to Azure Cloud.
  • Document procedures and offer training to team members.
  • Manage and oversee relevant servers while ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards.
  • Report progress, troubleshoot issues, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, CSDP) is advantageous.
  • Certification in Azure Cloud (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) is preferred.
  • Certification in Java or related technologies is beneficial.
  • Over 10 years of experience in software development.
  • Proven track record in developing scalable cloud-based solutions.
  • Proficiency in Java 1.8, JEE 8, and WebSphere 9.x.x.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud applications and development.
  • Familiarity with Microservices, API Management, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless computing.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, REST API, and MS SQL.
  • Experience with relational databases and AODA compliance.
  • Familiarity with IBM Server and WebSphere Server.
  • Proficient in utilizing cloud-based tools like GitHub for code and change management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead software development projects and teams.
  • Understanding of privacy and security requirements in a health context is a plus.
Employment Information
  • Compensation: $75.00HR- $85.00HR
  • Benefits: 37.5 Hours Weekly, Contract, Fulltime, Hybrid
  • Schedule: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday (1 Hour Lunch)
  • Additional: 9 months contract, Career growth, Possibility of extension
