Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Food and Beverage Service Associate to join our team at Sudbury Retirement Manor. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Provide excellent oral communication skills to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Serve food and beverages to residents and guests in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Inventory Management
    • Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware.
    • Perform sensory evaluation of wines.
  • Teamwork
    • Assist clients/guests with special needs.
    • Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience
    • Experience an asset.
  • Certifications
    • Serving It Right Certificate.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding role. The ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure is essential.
