Job Summary

F & S Logistics Limited is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Mountain Driving: Demonstrate expertise in driving in mountainous terrain.
  • Teamwork: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Documentation: Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle and perform regular inspections to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Emergency Response: Perform emergency roadside repairs and respond to unexpected situations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Hold a valid AZ class license and a Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Documentation Knowledge: Be familiar with bill of lading, driver logbook, inspection report, and trip reports.
  • Security and Safety: Pass a criminal record check, driver's validity license check, and driving record check.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess strong judgment, be organized, reliable, a team player, hardworking, and patient.
Work Environment

F & S Logistics Limited offers a permanent position with a work language of English and a work term of 40 to 50 hours per week.
