About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transformational Leader to join our team at Manulife. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our Development Team to deliver business digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to plan and execute projects
  • Engage with Transformation and Techno Functional teams to support Solution & Design
  • Lead and guide Development Team to deliver business digital initiatives
  • Design and develop solutions that protect and manage cloud native apps and data
  • Share and review innovative technical ideas with peers and high-level technical contributors
  • Build high-performance teams to align with and support company strategy
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in leading Development or Delivery
  • High-level understanding of Technology
  • Experience working and communicating with various team members
  • Ability to assess situations and apply analytics to initiate 'WHY' analysis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Leading Capabilities
  • Japanese Bilingual
  • Knowledge of Life/Annuity Insurance
  • Experience in development in an insurance company
  • Technical and hands-on developers
  • Cloud Experience
