About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Accent Dental. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Procedure Preparation: Prepare patients for dental examinations, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
  • Supply Management: Order dental and office supplies, maintaining a well-stocked and organized environment.
  • Instrument Preparation: Prepare dental instruments and filling materials, adhering to strict sterilization and quality control standards.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, promoting healthy habits and a positive patient experience.
  • Clinical Support: Assist dentists with intra-oral duties, take and develop X-rays, and record dental procedures performed on patients.
  • Administrative Tasks: Invoice patients for dental services, maintain accurate records, and perform other administrative duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Registration with provincial or territorial authorities and certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
