Pest Control Training Specialist

As a Pest Control Training Specialist, your role will involve delivering practical training and mentorship to newly hired Pest Specialists at Rentokil Initial. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Conducting Field Training for New Pest Specialists
  • Providing Peer Support to New Pest Specialists
  • Completing the Rentokil Initial Field Training Certification Program

In addition to your primary duties, you will also:

  • Accompany job candidates during ride-alongs
  • Offer training and constructive feedback to Trainees
  • Perform weekly assessments and progress evaluations

As a Peer Support, your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing a strong rapport with Trainees
  • Assisting Trainees with inquiries
  • Navigating Trainees through various training stages
  • Facilitating a smooth transition to becoming a productive employee
  • Communicating any concerns to the Trainee's Manager

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pest Specialist with Rentokil Initial
  • Completion of the Career Advancement Program
  • A valid state/province applicator license
  • A positive Annual Performance Review
  • Demonstrated professional conduct

Compensation and benefits include a standard rate for Field Training days, a retention bonus for Peer Support, and opportunities for professional development.
