About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Red Star Homes Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare building layouts in accordance with building codes, utilizing measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to construct residential structures.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to create a solid foundation for our homes.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a high-quality finish.
Work Environment

As a Carpenter with Red Star Homes Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights, in dusty conditions, and outdoors. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role with tight deadlines.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade.
  • Ability to work at heights, in dusty conditions, and outdoors.
  • Physically demanding role with tight deadlines.
