Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Operations Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Train and develop kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Establish and maintain high standards of quality and service in the kitchen.
- Food Preparation and Service
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of food to ensure it meets our high standards.
- Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor and control food costs to ensure profitability.
- Inventory and Supply Chain Management
- Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best possible prices and service.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure that the kitchen is maintained in a clean and safe environment for staff and customers.
- Develop and implement health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen management role.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
The kitchen is a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. You will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and be able to lift and move heavy objects.
