Sushi Chef

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Trinity Ancaster Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese cuisine.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is prepared to a high standard.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met, and clean kitchen and work areas as needed.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment, and you will be required to stand for extended periods. You will also be required to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
