About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Elegant Coating & Homes Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of craftsmanship in our residential projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and layout building sites in accordance with building codes and regulations, using precision measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel, to create precise and durable structures.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to meet the highest standards of construction.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a seamless and secure finish.
  • Coordinate and schedule work on sites to ensure timely completion and minimal disruption to our clients.
  • Conduct site surveys and level checks to ensure accuracy and precision in our construction work.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential properties and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations in the construction industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work long hours in a fast-paced construction environment.
