Course Title: Marketing Basics

Course Format: Section 1 - Tuesdays/Thursdays (SYN - synchronistic online course)

Compensation Structure:

Marker-Grader positions offer remuneration based on the qualifications held by the employee:

  • Master's Degree Complete ($ - For those who have attained a master's degree)
  • Undergraduate Degree Complete ($ - For those who have completed a four-year honours degree or a three-year pass degree)
  • Third Year Complete ($ - For those who have completed the third year of an undergraduate honours degree)
  • Second Year Complete ($ - For those who have completed the second year of an undergraduate degree)
  • First Year Complete ($ - For those who have completed the first year of an undergraduate honours degree)

Key Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of the Marker-Grader will align with Article 22 of the Collective Agreement. The individual in this role will be responsible for evaluating assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams. They must provide constructive written feedback to students, clearly articulating the rationale behind the assigned grades, whether it pertains to substantive content or written communication aspects such as spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall organization of the submission.

Additionally, the Marker-Grader may be required to supervise mid-term and final examinations for this course or input grades into databases as requested by the course instructor.
