Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Howard Johnson Grande Prairie. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including adjustments and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to ensure a secure environment.
  • Supervise other workers and provide guidance as needed.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel regularly.
