About the Role

Liaison College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Vice-President - Health, Education, Social and Community Services and Membership Organizations. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of the organization's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring effective use of resources to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Regional Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication across the organization.
  • Strategic Planning: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and values.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions, promoting the organization's interests and reputation.
  • Leadership Development: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions, ensuring effective leadership and management within the organization.
  • Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning, ensuring effective management of organizational resources.
Supervision and Work Environment
  • Team Size: Supervise a team of 3-4 people.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 42 hours per week.
