Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and verify patient information accurately during the registration process.
  • Provide exceptional communication and reception services within the Health Information Services department.
  • Adhere to provincial best practices for client registry management.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of secondary education or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a recognized Medical Office Assistant Program.
  • Completion of a Medical Terminology course from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred recent experience in a patient reception or care environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Typing skills with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
