Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and verify patient information accurately during the registration process.
- Provide exceptional communication and reception services within the Health Information Services department.
- Adhere to provincial best practices for client registry management.
Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary education or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a recognized Medical Office Assistant Program.
- Completion of a Medical Terminology course from an accredited institution.
- Preferred recent experience in a patient reception or care environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Typing skills with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute.
- Familiarity with electronic health records is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
- Able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
