Position Overview
The Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering at Concordia University invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Lecturer in the areas of Building and Civil Engineering.
This is a 12-month Limited Term appointment, with primary duties including teaching and service, and no research obligations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Civil or Building Engineering
- Membership in a Canadian professional engineering association, preferably in Quebec
- Industrial experience is a definite asset
Teaching Responsibilities
Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in diverse areas.
Candidates are encouraged to share any career interruptions or personal circumstances that may have had an impact on their career goals in their letter of application.

Language Requirements
Concordia University is an English-language institution of higher learning, and proficiency in English is required.
