Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion/Vascular Access

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in venous access devices to join the IV Therapy team at Richmond Hospital, Richmond, BC.

Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse - Infusion / Vascular Access, you will provide intravenous therapy to clients in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimal outcomes. You will work independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team, enhancing quality of life from the perspective of the client/family.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide intravenous therapy to clients in a safe and effective manner.
  • Work independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Enhance quality of life from the perspective of the client/family.
  • Consult, confer, and collaborate with other health care providers and members of the Infusion Program.
  • Maintain and advance your own clinical competence.
  • Participate on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Completion of one (1) year experience with venous access devices.
