Associate Director of Project Management Services

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Project Management Services to join our team at Lions Gate Hospital. As a key member of our Planning and Projects leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and implementation of facilities strategies and projects for assigned regions and functional areas across Vancouver Coastal Health.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of facilities planning and project initiatives, coordinating and resolving conflicts and overlaps between projects and other initiatives within the portfolio.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and leadership to designated staff using effective management techniques such as coaching, mentoring, skill development, and performance management.
- Develop annual operating budgets for the department, monitors expenditures, and performs variance analysis and reporting.
- Serve as a member of the Planning & Projects leadership team by participating in the development and approval of annual goals and objectives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
- Professional designation, supplemented with seven (7) to ten (10) years' recent, related experience in progressively more complex leadership roles in a large multi-site organization managing the planning, design, and construction of facilities projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of facilities project delivery processes, including planning, design, construction, and procurement within current standards, codes, bylaws, and regulations.
