Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at 2512239 Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance department, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transactions: Prepare and process cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Accounting and Reporting: Post journal entries, prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, and reconcile accounts.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a financial or accounting role.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently, and strong organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. A criminal record check is required for this position.
