Job Summary:
Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced Building Conditions Assessment Specialist to join our team. As a Building Conditions Assessment Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting building conditions assessments for our public and private sector clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct building conditions assessments for commercial, industrial, and residential properties
- Implement construction quality assurance programs and perform quality control field inspections
- Perform construction audits and capital asset planning
- Perform design reviews and mock-up validations
- Develop restoration strategies and administer contracts
- Track record of delivering high-quality work products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or civil engineering or similar programs or equivalent experience
- 15+ years of consulting experience at an engineering firm with strong experience in applicable federal and provincial environmental laws and regulations within a Canadian (preferably Ontario) jurisdiction
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of building conditions assessment
- Excellent communication and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Designated substances and hazardous materials surveys
- History of business development and client management
