Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Associate to join our team at Living Water Resorts. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service
    • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner
    • Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring a smooth and organized experience
    • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed
    • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including amenities and local attractions
    • Assist guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
    • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
    • Follow emergency and safety procedures, ensuring the well-being of guests and staff
  • Communication
    • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff
    • Provide wake-up calls and other assistance as needed
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Perform clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying
    • Assist with data entry and other administrative tasks as needed
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Experience
      • Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is an asset
    • Skills
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
      • Attention to detail and organizational skills
      • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
