Job Title: Hotel Front Desk Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Living Water Resorts.

Job Summary:

The Hotel Front Desk Clerk will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and maintaining accurate records. If you have a passion for delivering outstanding service and working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out experiences.
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, recreational activities, and local attractions.
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, prioritizing guest safety and well-being.
  • Perform clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, as needed.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Assist guests with special needs, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Contact guests to deliver requested wake-up calls, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Provide customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting, an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and perform clerical duties efficiently.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow.
