Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll & HR Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing all payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing, and providing administrative support to the plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for corporate processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage employee enrollment in e-time system and address payroll inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reconcile payroll adjustments with Corporate Payroll and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Track and manage employee vacation hours, absenteeism, and agency employee time sheets.
  • Administer new hiring orientation programs and provide first-level HR support to employees.
  • Generate daily reports on employee hours worked and track Health & Safety metrics.
  • Assist with production and maintenance KPI reporting and coordinate plant events and activities.

Qualifications

  • College Diploma with a focus on payroll administration or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with WSIB claims management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
