About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Total Site Services Ltd. as a key member of our maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Inspect Equipment: Utilize technical expertise to detect faults and malfunctions in heavy trucks and equipment.
  • Diagnose and Repair: Employ computerized and other testing equipment to diagnose faults and perform repairs, ensuring work meets manufacturers' specifications.
  • Inventory Management: Order parts and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
  • Equipment Adjustments and Repairs: Adjust and repair or replace defective parts to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
  • Equipment Testing: Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and adherence to manufacturers' specifications.
  • Maintenance and Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment longevity.
  • Heavy Truck Repair: Conduct repair work on heavy trucks, including service of attachments and working tools.
  • Emission Control Systems: Verify and repair emission control systems to ensure environmental compliance.

  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain high levels of attention to detail to ensure accurate diagnoses and repairs.
