We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Components Leader to join our team at Arrow Electronics Canada Ltd. in Toronto.
Job Summary
The Global Components Leader will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a team of sales professionals, and developing strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Provide market insights and analysis to inform business decisions and drive growth.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of sales and sales leadership experience with a 3-year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience working for an electrical component distributor, manufacturers rep for components or component manufacturer, required.
- 5+ years of experience working with manufacturers reps for electronic components or IP&E products, required.
- Knowledge of Semiconductor and IP&E suppliers, required.
- Prior success leading, mentoring, and motivating a field sales team.
- Experience within electronics distribution is strongly preferred.
- Strong business acumen and budgetary management experience.
- The ability to build and leverage relationships and identify key decision makers.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills in English.
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally in a fast-paced team environment, with excellent relationship and team building skills.
- Experience using Salesforce CRM and solid competencies in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel), ideally experience with Oracle.
- Ability to travel 25% of time.
