Job Summary

The Global Components Leader will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a team of sales professionals, and developing strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Provide market insights and analysis to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of sales and sales leadership experience with a 3-year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working for an electrical component distributor, manufacturers rep for components or component manufacturer, required.
  • 5+ years of experience working with manufacturers reps for electronic components or IP&E products, required.
  • Knowledge of Semiconductor and IP&E suppliers, required.
  • Prior success leading, mentoring, and motivating a field sales team.
  • Experience within electronics distribution is strongly preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and budgetary management experience.
  • The ability to build and leverage relationships and identify key decision makers.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills in English.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally in a fast-paced team environment, with excellent relationship and team building skills.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM and solid competencies in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel), ideally experience with Oracle.
  • Ability to travel 25% of time.
