Job Summary

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of physiotherapy services to children aged 0-18. Your expertise in musculoskeletal and respiratory conditions will be invaluable in helping us deliver exceptional care to our young patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to address musculoskeletal and respiratory issues.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication with patients and families.
  • Develop and implement outcome measures to track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Support patients and families in setting goals for transition of care from pediatric to adult settings.
  • Take on a teaching role for clinic learners, including medical students and residents, to promote knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Minimum two years of pediatric physiotherapy experience, with a focus on rheumatic conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for working with children and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
  • Experience in rehabilitation therapy and the application of braces, splints, and other devices.
  • Ability to facilitate change, foster innovation, and model the values of the organization.
