Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Strategic Sourcing Plans: Design and implement tailored sourcing strategies to optimize MRO procurement, ensuring alignment with our operational requirements and business objectives.
- Market Analysis and Trend Identification: Stay ahead of industry dynamics by analyzing market trends and technological advancements, leveraging opportunities for innovation in the MRO category.
- Supplier Evaluation and Contract Negotiation: Conduct rigorous supplier evaluations and negotiate contracts that ensure cost efficiency and high quality of service and materials.
- Strategic Supplier Relationships: Establish and cultivate relationships with key suppliers to enhance supply chain resilience and foster continuous improvement.
- Risk Management and Operational Continuity: Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions and maintain continuous operational capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and other teams to ensure MRO strategies align with internal requirements and operational goals.
- Cost-Saving Initiatives and Process Efficiency: Lead cost-saving initiatives and drive efficiency in MRO procurement without compromising on quality or reliability.
- Performance Monitoring and Compliance: Monitor and manage performance against key procurement metrics and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Advanced Procurement Technologies: Utilize advanced procurement technologies to streamline processes and enhance decision-making through comprehensive data analysis.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, with additional qualifications in Business or Supply Chain Management.
- Professional Certification: Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., MCIPS, SCMP, CPSM, CSCP) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of technical experience in the paper or packaging industry, with at least 5 years in a procurement or category management role focusing on MRO.
- Skills and Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement advanced sourcing strategies, strong technical understanding of operational requirements, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.
