Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations at our Toronto facility. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality and efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Safety Leadership: Develop and implement safety protocols to create a culture of safety and well-being among our team members.
- Operational Excellence: Lead a high-performing production team that is passionate about delivering exceptional results and exceeding customer expectations.
- Leadership and Development: Foster a culture of growth and development, providing coaching and mentoring to our production supervisors and hourly crew members.
- Production Planning and Control: Create and manage production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products to meet customer demand.
- Customer Service: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality product supply that meets customer needs.
- Lean and Continuous Improvement: Drive the implementation of lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance overall performance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a production manager or superintendent in a manufacturing environment.
- Relevant educational degree or certification in a related field.
- Proven track record of implementing and driving lean and continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP, Excel, and CMMS systems.
