Regulated Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Regulated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a fast-paced overnight environment. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists and pharmacy managers with daily operations, including general housekeeping, operating the pharmacy computer, and processing prescriptions.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists and pharmacy managers with daily operations, including general housekeeping and processing prescriptions.
- Operate the pharmacy computer system and manage inventory.
- Process prescriptions and prepare medications for dispensing.
- Order and receive drug orders, and manage pharmacy department inventory.
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient and accurate operations.
- Registration with the College of Pharmacists (in the province of employment) is mandatory.
- Ability to work at least 8 hours per day, up to 40 hours per week, including overtime as required.
- Good interpersonal skills when dealing with clients, staff, and management.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-starter with a high level of enthusiasm and ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Ability to work as a team player and have a team approach.
- Basic computer skills and experience with pharmacy computer systems.
This is a full-time position requiring a 9:00pm - 5:30am shift, alternating between four different store locations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent patient care and customer service.
