We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Planning Expert to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our healthcare design team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in the planning and design of healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Planning: Develop and implement clinical planning strategies for healthcare facilities, ensuring that they meet the needs of patients, staff, and the community.
  • Facility Master Planning: Lead the development of facility master plans, including the design of healthcare facilities, infrastructure, and systems.
  • Design and Project Management: Provide technical assistance in proposal formulation, project setup, work plan development, and budgeting.
  • Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and goals, and developing design solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of designers and project managers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to the development of thought leadership pieces, including articles, presentations, and research papers, to advance the field of healthcare design.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10 years of experience in healthcare planning, design, and project management.
  • Credentials: Licensed and/or credentialed Architect or Interior Designer.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and experience with healthcare design software and systems.
