The Senior IT Project Management Leader is accountable for the effective execution of various concurrent IT Special Projects, including but not limited to Merger and Acquisition (M&A) initiatives. The individual will oversee the coordination of diverse IT functions within the broader project framework. Additionally, this role involves supervising Project Managers, ensuring successful project outcomes through a structured project management approach while collaborating closely with business partners and team members.

Leadership Responsibilities:
- Develop and guide a high-performing team of Project Managers, offering mentorship and professional growth opportunities to cultivate a collaborative and skilled workforce.

Planning and Coordination:
- Facilitate the activities of multiple project teams working towards shared objectives.
- Assist Project Managers in structuring and planning projects, advising on project management tools.
- Create and maintain comprehensive schedules for projects, monitor interdependencies, and present program status updates.

Project Delivery and Execution:
- Establish and enforce project execution strategies.
- Supervise project delivery, planning, and executing complex IT projects or multiple simultaneous projects using standardized project management methodologies.
- Ensure projects adhere to quality standards, timelines, and budgets while proactively addressing risks and challenges.

Financial Oversight and Resource Management:
- Manage budgets for various IT Special and M&A projects, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- Conduct resource capacity assessments to guarantee efficient and effective resource allocation.
- Prioritize activities that align with the organization's strategic goals.

Communication Skills:
- Prepare and deliver status reports using clear verbal and written communication.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate project performance, preparing regular reports and insights for leadership.

PMO Process Enhancement:
- Collaborate with Project Governance to refine project management methodologies, tools, and processes, enhancing efficiency within the PMO.

Change Management Support:
- Assist in organizational change management by proactively identifying and communicating business process changes and their impacts.

Job Characteristics:
This role carries direct accountability for the successful execution and delivery of projects supporting special initiatives and M&A efforts.
- Proven ability to lead IT project implementations and integrations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- PMP certification and/or relevant training.
- 15 years of hands-on experience across various IT domains with a deep understanding of infrastructure, applications, and security.
- Over 10 years of experience in IT Project Management, including comprehensive experience in medium-to-large projects and programs with progressive leadership roles.
- Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with project management tools.
