About the Opportunity

Outlier is seeking talented writers with fluency in English to help train generative artificial intelligence models. This freelance opportunity is remote and offers flexible hours, allowing you to work at your convenience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and rank English text produced by AI models
  • Write and rewrite prompts and responses, involving research and fact-checking
  • Evaluate the factuality and relevance of text generated by AI models
Desirable Expertise
  • Professional writing or editing experience
  • Associate degree or higher in a writing-related discipline
  • Strong writing style, exceptional English-language skills, and logic and reasoning abilities
  • Attention to detail and clear explanation of text strengths and weaknesses
Compensation

Pay rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors. For example, higher rates may be offered to PhDs. Certain projects offer incentive payments.
