About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically fit individual to join our team at Tight5 Contracting Ltd as an Insulator Helper. This is a permanent position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the construction site.
  • Site Setup and Dismantling: Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Medical Support: Provide assistance to the medical examiner in charge as needed.
  • Drilling and Blasting: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Earthwork: Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform routine maintenance work.
  • Spill Response: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Machinery Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Site Safety: Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work in a construction site environment, which can be physically demanding and requires attention to safety protocols.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience is preferred.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
