About the Role

Glow Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Construction Assistant to join our team. As a Construction Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Clean and lubricate cranes and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Site Preparation: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to prepare the site for construction.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris from the construction site to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Site Safety: Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure the safety of workers and the public.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Work Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: The candidate must be able to handle heavy loads and work in a dusty and noisy environment.
