About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Enhanced Care Centre team in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform initial and regular health assessments to maintain patient quality of life
  • Support development of individualized care plans that focus on the patient's functional abilities and support network
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care of patients
  • Ensure compliance with Philosophy of Service and patient care plan to ensure optimal health and wellness for each patient
  • Manage patient medication in accordance with legislative requirements
About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability, you bring:

  • A Diploma in Practical Nursing and are currently registered with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
  • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing and healthcare practices, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work a schedule of flexible hours and all shifts inclusive of days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
