Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

LA JAWAB INDIAN & HAKKA CHINESE CUISINE is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead a team of 5-10 staff members in the preparation and portioning of food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as estimating ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting and Scheduling: Prepare and submit reports, as well as establish work schedules to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Setting: Restaurant
